When using TortiousSVN to download an update, users can receive a Conflict Message.
Conflicts result from a lack of synchronization between the local and server copy. This occurs when the local copy is modified and not uploaded (shared) with the server. The solution is to either resolve the conflict by “Using Theirs” which means to ignore all the local changes made and overwrite them with the servers copy. Sometimes this solution will cause you to lose all your local changes, which may be critical. In this case it is important to properly merge the local and server versions.
